All American is a delectable parsnip with long ivory roots and a sweet, mellow flavor. Delicious roasted, simmered in stews, sauteed, and mashed – most flavorful when harvested after a fall frost. Slow to germinate.
- 500 seeds minimum
- Germination: 21-28 days
- Maturity: 90-100 days
- Direct sow first crop as soon as soil can be worked in early spring. Gently press scattered seeds into loosened soil. Resow in late summer for a fall crop.
- Plant in full sun and water consistently.
- Space plants 2-3” apart in rows 12” apart.
