This sugary-sweet beet with white roots is comes from the Netherlands. Albino has bright skin and flesh and a firm, crisp texture – delicious raw, steamed, roasted, and pickled. Albino beet greens are nutrient dense and flavorful. Prolific, easy to grow, and stores well. One of our favorites!
- 150 seeds minimum
- Germination: 5-10 days
- Maturity: 55-60 days
- Direct sow ½” deep in full sun as soon as soil can be worked.
- Sow 12-15 seeds per foot; thin to 3" apart when seedlings are 1-2" tall. Plant rows 12" apart.
- Plant again in late summer for a fall harvest.
